Founder and President Joseph Stanley earned his Master of Science degree in Kinesiology (empahsis Sport Psychology) from the University of Texas-Pan-American and a Master of Arts degree in Professional Counseling from Lindenwood University He is a Certified Sport Psychology Consultant through the Association of Applied Sport Psychology (CC-AASP) and an alumnus of the University of Missouri-Columbia where he earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology. While there, he played football for the Missouri Tigers under Head Coach Warren Powers.
Joe has provided sport counseling services for the past eight seasons to the nationlly ranked Lindenwood University Football team and also has worked with several professional football athletes outside of the University environment. In 2007, he appeared on the local St Louis cable show Primetime Sports at News Channel 20 as a featured guest where he discussed various sport psychology issues. He is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) through the National Strength and Conditioning Association and has served in the past as an intern Strength and Conditioning Coach with the University of Missouri Football team. Joe is also a current Professional Member of the Association for Applied Sport Psychology, the American Counseling Association, and the American Psychological Association Division 47 Exercise and Sport Psychology. He holds a Post-Masters Certificate in Sport Psychology from California University of Pennsylvania.
